Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Monitoring of key health trends in the human nutrition market and of scientific developments in human nutrition and health
  • Safeguarding scientific view on human physiology for relevant health areas and ingredients (e.g. mode-of-action, metabolism, uptake) and interplay of food ingredients related to several health areas
  • Developing scientific insights on relevant ingredients and health areas and combining those with market knowledge, trends and customer needs. Supporting in securing IP where applicable
  • Translating the knowledge into contributions for marketing materials to support product positioning and customer projects. Communicating scientific information in an effective way to different target groups across functions and countries (i.e. customer presentation, articles) to support business development
  • Actively designing of human, animal and cell-line trials in collaboration with external partners (academic and/or industrial) to prove the effectiveness of existing and new ingredients in the portfolio
  • Collaborating with existing partners and establish new contacts with international external partners (e.g. academic institutes and commercial partners

Ihre Qualifikationen:

  • MSc or PhD in Food Sciences, Food Technology, Human Nutrition Health, Nutritional Physiology (with a focus on food), Food Health Innovation Management or similar background ;
  • Basic economical and marketing understanding is a pre-requisite
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in research and/or similar business area (B2B health food ingredients)
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Careful and reliable operation and a high degree of initiative
